The Leuthen Diorama in Ingolstadt

which sadly is no more..

Here some photos I made in the good old days. Some day we will make it in 1/72 too!

sorry for the poor quality, the photos are nearly 20 years old now.

In the museum of the Plassenburg in Kulmbach there is still a small one, here photos from around the same time.

A Derwish charge from Massimo

This weekend I sorted several hundred "uniformplates" of African warriors into my printed archive. Of course there were a lot of photos about the Derwish army between all the stuff.

This reminded me that I have still some photos of Massimo's latest set of his own production lying around.

So here a Derwish charge. I already ordered some of them:-)

And to my great joy, our hobbyfried Duncan is back. In his first mails to me he sent me photos of two of my Turkish Crimean war officers painted as Egyptians. I never thought before on using them this way.

The French in Egypt

As part of our range of the French Revolution we don't have to miss the campaign in Egypt.

Here we allready have my British Indian army which could be used for some of the British Units in Egypt.

Also there will be a Turkish army later in the year.

But what would be this range without the French Dromedarcorps?

Here the photos I got from Massimo this morning. In the end the figures will come without head and Options as you can see them here. The whole range will have around 30 figures, mounted and dismounted.

BTW, my first thought when seeing the first row was "Give them trousers and have Sikhs":-)
